I slept on the couch last night for hopefully the first and only time. Not bad, but became a little uncomfortable come morning. I crawled into Matt's room after he left for kindergarten in the morning. Nadiya came home from vacation last night and was exhausted. I thought it might be better to let her have her room, as I knew I'd be moving today (tues.) anyhow. In she walked at around 1am and promptly wondered why i was on the couch. Funny, huh? She thought I should have stayed in her room till I move. Ah, no worries. Just one night of so-so sleep won't hurt me. So, Nadiya and I slept until around noon. Yeah....I didn't stutter. It really was that late. I think with this hacking cold of mine, my bodies just been screaming for rest. Course she just needed to catch up after traveling for so long. On first meeting her, she seems pretty nice. Definitely not the girly type, but easy to talk to. Actually, she did quite a bit of babbling herself. No problem here. Asked lots of questions too though. It was nice to have somebody different to talk to besides Matt. We'll see how my first impressions hold up later on. I tend to have things generally backwards, but hopefully I may be on the money this time. She just seemed pretty laid back and informal. Nice.

All my stuff is laid out in the living room ready for the move tonight after class. I have a lot of crap, but surprisingly, it really didn't take that long to get it all together. I commented to Matt that there's something to be said for being able to pack up your life in 30 min. He chuckled and was like....I hope I can always do that. Material possessions don't mean much to me. Guess they do here. I felt a little empty knowing that my life fit into 4 bags. But....I'll let ya'll know maybe tomorrow or the next day how my new place is. I know it's close and probably small. That's all I know for now.
